Real Estate Acquisition and Development

We provide a full service real estate practice. Particular areas of expertise include representing
buyers and sellers of real estate, representing lenders and borrowers in real estate-secured loans,
representing developers in negotiating and structuring complex equity and mezzanine
investments, and all types of real estate leasing transactions.

Our clients include developers of residential, commercial and industrial products. The Firm’s
residential development clients create single family detached, condominium, multifamily high-rise
and adaptive reuse and loft housing projects. We deal with clients from project inception, through
subdivision map act, subdivided lands sale act, CEQA and local permit and DRE compliance. In
particular, the Firm has strong local government relationships in Los Angeles, San Bernardino and
San Francisco Counties. Our clients also develop retail, manufacturing, warehouse and distribution
facilities. The Firm has taken a leadership role in the redevelopment of the Los Angeles Historic
Core and Theater District.
